About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced
Accountant
to join a growing company operating in the
oil & gas and commodity trading sector
.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, VAT, and financial reporting.
Experience
in
commodity trading, oil & gas, or a similar commercial environment
will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare customer and supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment documentation.
Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.
Perform bank, customer, and supplier reconciliations.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up on pending payments.
Assist with monthly and year-end closing activities.
Prepare financial reports, accounting schedules, and management reports.
Record and monitor sales, purchases, inventory, and trading transactions.
Support Dubai VAT calculations, VAT returns, and related documentation.
Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial records and supporting documents.
Assist with cash-flow monitoring and financial analysis.
