Job Summary
Implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental requirements on interior fit-out and MEP project sites.
Ensure activities comply with company policies, local regulations, client requirements, and project standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the project HSE plan and safety procedures.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks for site personnel and subcontractors.
- Prepare risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems.
- Monitor hot works, work at height, lifting operations, confined spaces, and electrical works.
- Ensure proper PPE use and monitor housekeeping and safe material storage.
- Raise safety observations, incident reports, and NCRs and follow up on corrective actions.
- Coordinate with consultants, PMC teams, and client representatives during inspections and audits.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare corrective and preventive action reports.
- Maintain HSE records, permits, training records, and statutory documentation.
- Support emergency response planning, drills, and evacuation procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or diploma in engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of HSE experience in interior fit-out and MEP projects.
- NEBOSH IGC or an equivalent HSE certification is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Dubai HSE regulations and construction safety requirements.
- Experience working with consultants, PMC teams, and subcontractors on fit-out projects.
