Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and adjustments
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and supplier/customer ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Prepare and review UAE VAT returns
- Assist with Corporate Tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Prepare management reports and financial statements
- Communicate with clients to obtain accounting records and supporting documents
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or consultancy environment
- Experience handling multiple client accounts is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, Sage, or ERP)
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate bookkeeping records for multiple client accounts
- Record daily financial transactions, journal entries, and adjustments
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, and supplier/customer ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain general ledgers and trial balances
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and review UAE VAT returns
- Assist with Corporate Tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Ensure accounting records comply with UAE tax laws and regulations
- Support clients during FTA reviews and audits
- Financial Reporting: Prepare management reports and financial statements
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities
Client Coordination & Administrative Duties
- Communicate with clients to obtain accounting records and supporting documents
- Respond to client inquiries regarding accounting and bookkeeping matters
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
- Organize and maintain accounting files and documentation
- Ensure confidentiality of client financial information
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA, CMA, CPA, or equivalent will be an advantage
- Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or consultancy environment
- Experience handling multiple client accounts is preferred
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Good understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an accounting and bookkeeping firm in the UAE
- Familiarity with UAE Free Zone and Mainland company compliance requirements
- Knowledge of IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements
- Arabic language skills will be an advantage
