About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Accountant for an Electromechanical (MEP) company in Dubai & Sharjah. The role involves managing daily financial operations, project billing, payroll, VAT compliance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of daily financial transactions and accounting entries
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processing
- Prepare invoices, payment certificates, statements of account, and financial reports
- Monitor project related costs, billing, and customer collections
- Process employee payroll and prepare SIF files for salary transfers
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations
- Assist in cash flow management, budgeting, and monthly reporting
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams regarding material purchases and cost tracking
- Support inventory control and documentation activities
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and statutory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in MEP, construction, engineering, or contracting sector
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, VAT filing, and project accounting
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
