About the Role

Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
- Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Support month end and year end closing activities
- Assist with VAT, UAE Corporate Tax compliance, and audit preparation
- Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Work with departments across the business to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and efficiencies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 3 years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- CPA qualification (or working towards) is an advantage
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Analytical with strong problem solving skills

Overview
- We're looking for an Accountant who is eager to grow their career, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in getting the details right.
- You'll gain broad exposure across accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, budgeting, and audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
