This role is for my client in accounting and tax consultancy firm :
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts including Profit and Loss account and Balance Sheet.
- VAT Registration and Return Submission
- Corporate Tax Registration and Return Submission
Project Work
- -There will be involvement in projects on an ad-hoc basis
- Monthly processing
- Setting up cloud accounting system
- Ensuring all sales are recorded accurately and there is a robust system in place for highlighting issues, preparing various reports
• Cash & Bank Reconciliation
- Accounts Receivable
- Ensure that the system of recording, invoicing is done in an effective manner and that that debtors are tracked and monitored periodically.
- Accounts Payable
- Maintenance of the purchasing system, reconciliation of creditor statements and dealing with queries.
- VAT and Corporate Tax Registration on the FTA Portal as and when required
- Submission of VAT and Corporate Tax Returns as and when required
Qualifications
- We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication, organisational and analytical skills.
- The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in an accounting firm or industry position.
- The ideal candidate will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- UAE experience ideally (will be trained up on UAE aspects)
Salary
Will be dependent on experience.
