We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented **Accountant cum Purchase Executive (Healthcare)** with experience in the medical or healthcare field to join our team.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant cum Purchase Executive with a background in the healthcare sector.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and handling procurement activities including medical supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination.
Accounting Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle invoicing, billing, and collection follow-ups.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings.
- Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
Procurement And Purchase Duties
- Manage procurement of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with medical and operations teams.
- Ensure all purchases comply with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
- Track and control procurement budgets and expenses.
- Maintain supplier records and contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum **2–5 years of experience** in accounting and procurement, preferably in a **healthcare setting (clinic/hospital)**.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
- Familiarity with medical procurement processes and healthcare suppliers.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Good communication skills in English & Hindi.
