About the Role
Dr Rami Hamed Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (OT) Supervisor with orthopedic experience to oversee daily operations of the Operating Theatre. Requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, valid UAE nursing license, and minimum 3 years of OT experience in UAE with 3 years in orthopedic OT.

- Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the Operating Theatre
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of orthopedic surgical procedures
- Ensure availability and proper management of orthopedic implants, power tools, navigation systems, and specialized surgical equipment
- Verify implant documentation, inventory, and traceability in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in planning complex orthopedic procedures when required
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international patient safety standards
- Monitor adherence to infection prevention and control protocols
- Ensure completion of WHO Surgical Safety Checklist before, during, and after surgery
- Conduct regular audits on OT practices, documentation, and infection control
- Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and adverse events
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate OT nurses and support staff
- Conduct orientation and competency assessments for new employees
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
- Valid UAE Nursing License (DOH, DHA, or MOHAP) or eligibility
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Minimum 3 years of Operation Theatre experience in the UAE
- Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in Orthopedic Operating Theatre
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Experience with joint replacement, trauma, spine, arthroscopy, and sports medicine procedures highly desirable
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
- Additional certification in Perioperative Nursing is an advantage

Job Summary
