About the Role

Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for oral and maxillofacial conditions
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including surgical extraction of impacted teeth, dental implant placement, bone grafting, sinus lift, facial trauma management, jaw fracture repair, orthognathic surgery, TMJ disorder treatment, and management of cysts, tumors, and oral lesions
- Provide emergency surgical treatment when required
- Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations, and post operative care
- Monitor patients during recovery and ensure appropriate follow up care
- Explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes to patients and obtain informed consent
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient medical records
Requirements
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS/DMD) or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Master's Degree, Specialty Certificate, or Board Certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
- Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH UAE License/Eligibility Letter
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3–5 years of post specialization clinical experience
- Experience in dental implantology, facial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, and reconstructive procedures
- Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Job Overview
- The Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing diseases, injuries, defects, and deformities affecting the mouth, jaws, face, neck, and associated structures.
- The surgeon provides comprehensive patient centered care while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, patient safety, and ethical practice in accordance with UAE healthcare regulations and the policies of Dr. Rami Hamed Center FZ LLC.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for oral and maxillofacial conditions.
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including surgical extraction of impacted teeth, dental implant placement, bone grafting, sinus lift, facial trauma management, jaw fracture repair, orthognathic surgery, TMJ disorder treatment, and management of cysts, tumors, and oral lesions.
- Provide emergency surgical treatment when required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS/DDS/DMD) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Master's Degree, Specialty Certificate, or Board Certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Valid DHA, DOH, or MOH UAE License/Eligibility Letter.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of post specialization clinical experience.
- Experience in dental implantology, facial trauma management, orthognathic surgery, and reconstructive procedures is preferred.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment is an advantage.
