Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team in Dubai.
The role requires experience in F&B or restaurant accounting and familiarity with sales, POS reconciliation, supplier accounts, inventory, and VAT.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities.
- Manage daily sales and POS reconciliation.
- Reconcile cash, card, and online delivery sales.
- Handle supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare bank and account reconciliations.
- Monitor expenses and costs.
- Assist with stock and inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare daily and monthly financial reports.
- Maintain accounting records and supporting documents.
- Assist with VAT and audit requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- F&B or restaurant accounting experience is preferred.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, POS systems, and accounting software.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT.
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Workplace
- The role is performed in person in Dubai.
