Role Overview
Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled and versatile Accommodation Attendant to maintain staff accommodation to high standards.
The role requires hands-on building maintenance experience in a dynamic hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in staff accommodation.
- Repair air conditioning, electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance issues.
- Inspect accommodation facilities and identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults efficiently while minimizing disruption.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Ensure maintenance work complies with health, safety, and company standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment and keep accurate maintenance records.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in building maintenance, preferably in hotels, staff accommodation, or residential facilities.
- Good working knowledge of air conditioning systems, electrical works, and plumbing.
- Experience with carpentry, painting, and minor handyman repairs.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance requests effectively.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to quality.
Workplace
- The work is based in hotel staff accommodation and requires hands-on physical maintenance activities.
