Job Summary
- The Preparatory Year Program (PYP) at Prince Sultan University is inviting qualified candidates to apply for the following faculty positions for the 2026 2027 Academic Year.
- PYP – English Lecturer/Instructor (Male)
Applicants Are Expected To
- Hold a Master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Language Teaching, or a closely related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field and a recognized postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA or equivalent)
- Have earned their academic degree(s) from an accredited university, completed on site as a full time student.
- Demonstrate relevant experience teaching English at the university or foundation/preparatory program level, preferably across A1–B1 CEFR levels.
- Exhibit strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills suitable for diverse and mixed ability classrooms.
- Experience teaching Saudi or Gulf region EFL learners, or demonstrated understanding of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts.
- Demonstrate the ability to use educational technology and information systems effectively in teaching, assessment, and course management.
- Contribute to the academic and developmental goals of the Preparatory Program, including curriculum development, assessment, committees, professional development, and student support activities.
- Teach 20 contact hours per semester.
- Be highly proficient in English, with an excellent standard of spoken and written communication, as all teaching, assessment, and academic advising are conducted in English.

Salary And Benefits
- One year renewable contract (renewable subject to Dean/Director and student evaluations) and a competitive salary package based on academic qualification, rank, and teaching experience.
- Medical insurance coverage for the employee & dependents residing within the Kingdom (spouse & 4 children below 24 years of age).
- Transport allowance.
- Round trip tickets (maximum 4: employee, spouse, and 2 children below 18 years of age) for annual leave with paid annual (summer) vacation of two (2) months, plus 2 local paid holidays of about 15 days each (as applicable).
- Tuition fees of up to 30,000 Saudi Riyals for children attending school within the Kingdom.
- Free, furnished accommodation plus essential utilities and maintenance will be provided, subject to availability, OR housing allowance based on academic rank.
- End of service yearly gratuity, which starts on the 2nd year of continuous service (if the candidate has completed a minimum of 2 years).
