Requirements
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution
- Solid research profile including publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences
- Experience or interest in nanoelectronics, microelectronics, VLSI design, or semiconductor devices highly desirable
- Hands on experience with EDA tools such as Synopsys and Cadence for IC design, simulation, and verification is a strong advantage
- Background in analog and/or digital VLSI design, layout, or fabrication processes is a strong advantage
- Experience with advanced CMOS technologies, RFIC, system on chip (SoC) design, or mixed signal circuits is a strong advantage
- Prior involvement in funded research projects, industry collaboration, or technology development is a strong advantage
- Professional certifications and/or relevant industry experience preferred
- Commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and service

Position Required
- The Communications and Networks Engineering Department, College of Engineering at Prince Sultan University, is seeking applicants with the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor in Electrical Engineering for its upcoming Academic Year 2026/2027, starting in August 2026.
- The candidate is expected to teach undergraduate courses in Electrical Circuits, Electronics Engineering, Advanced Electronics, Power Electronics, Semiconductor Design, Logic Design, Senior Design Project and/or other subjects related to Electrical Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Candidates are expected to demonstrate a solid research profile, including evidence of scholarly activity such as publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences, and the potential to develop a sustainable research program.
- Experience or interest in areas related to nanoelectronics, microelectronics, VLSI design, or semiconductor devices is highly desirable.
- Additional qualifications: hands on experience with EDA tools (Synopsys, Cadence), background in analog/digital VLSI design, experience with advanced CMOS technologies, RFIC, SoC design, or mixed signal circuits, prior involvement in funded research projects.
- Preference given to candidates with professional certifications, relevant industry experience, affiliations with internationally recognized institutions, and ability to secure external research funding.

- One year renewable contract with competitive salary package based on academic qualification, rank, and teaching experience.
