- Act as a friendly point of contact for parents, celebrating wins and communicating progress
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children (ages 4+) and absolute beginners in a sports or educational setting
- Exceptional patience, warm demeanor, and high energy with young kids
- Willingness to commute to different academy locations within Dubai
- Proficiency in using basic technology (smartphones, scheduling/communication apps)

Role Overview
- We are seeking a remarkably patient, warm, and energetic Grassroots Youth Basketball Coach.
- You will be the first touchpoint many young athletes have with the sport.
- Your primary objective is to ensure every child feels welcomed, has fun, learns fundamentals, and falls in love with basketball.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fun, high energy, encouraging practices for beginners and young athletes (ages 4+).
- Teach absolute fundamentals of basketball (dribbling, passing, shooting mechanics, basic motor skills).
- Travel between various Hangtime locations across Dubai to lead beginner sessions.
- Foster a highly positive, safe, inclusive atmosphere where young kids feel comfortable making mistakes.
- Act as a friendly, approachable point of contact for parents, celebrating children's small wins.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience working with young children (ages 4+) and absolute beginners in a sports or educational setting.
- Exceptional patience, warm demeanor, and ability to maintain high energy with young kids.
- Deep understanding that enjoyment, encouragement, and basic fundamental development come before competitive winning.
- Willingness to commute to different academy locations within Dubai.
- Proficiency in using basic technology (smartphones, scheduling/communication apps).
What We Offer
- Monthly tax free salary (AED 6,000 – AED 8,000 based on experience).
- Full UAE Resident Visa sponsorship.
- 30 days of annual paid leave.
