- Conduct foundational athletic testing and track performance metrics, maintaining progress reports
- Actively assist Head Coaches during daily basketball practices, ensuring efficient drills and high energy
- Take lead coaching role for specific developmental groups, teaching fundamental basketball skills
- Attend competitive games to lead dynamic warm ups, manage player readiness, and assist coaching staff
Requirements
- Valid certification in Strength and Conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NASM, ISSA) or a degree in Sports Science/Kinesiology
- Previous experience playing or coaching basketball, with solid understanding of physical demands
- Experience designing safe and effective physical training programs for youth athletes (under 18)
- Comfortable tracking data, logging metrics, and using technology to monitor player progress
- High energy, motivating, and capable of pushing athletes while maintaining positive environment

Role Overview
- We are seeking a versatile professional for a dual role: Assistant Basketball Coach & Head of Strength and Conditioning.
- Your primary mission is maximizing athletic performance, injury prevention, and physical resilience of competition team players.
- You will also assist Head Coaches on the court and lead select developmental groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead age appropriate S&C programs for competitive youth teams.
- Conduct foundational athletic testing and track performance metrics.
- Actively assist Head Coaches during daily basketball practices.
- Take lead coaching role for specific developmental groups.
- Attend competitive games to lead warm ups and assist coaching staff.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Valid S&C certification (CSCS, NASM, ISSA) or degree in Sports Science/Kinesiology.
- Previous experience playing or coaching basketball.
- Experience designing safe physical training programs for youth under 18.
- Comfortable tracking data and using technology.
- High energy, motivating personality.

- Monthly salary (AED 6,000 – AED 8,000 based on experience).
