- Plan, prepare, and deliver World History lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and academic standards
- Teach historical periods, civilizations, major world events, political movements, and cultural developments from ancient to modern times
- Encourage students to analyze historical sources, evaluate evidence, and develop independent perspectives
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, presentations, examinations, and classroom activities
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behavior
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Integrate technology and interactive teaching methods to enhance student engagement
- Promote historical awareness, global citizenship, and cross cultural understanding
- Provide academic guidance and support to students as needed
- Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and school leadership regarding student progress
- Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, school events, and extracurricular programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in History, World History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, State Teaching License, or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of world history, historical research methods, and curriculum standards
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms
- English language proficiency
