Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair jet engines and small gas turbine engines following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents
- Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications
- Perform scheduled service and maintenance tasks to aircraft engine components
- Perform tasks with technician teams in conducting functional tests of repaired components and systems
- Remove, install, inspect, repair and modify engines and engine modules and components
- Annotate maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports
- Disassemble and assemble engines adhering to prescribed procedures
- Use and dispose of hazardous waste and materials following safety standards
- Perform basic launch and recovery to engine and engine components
- Maintain logs of airplane launches, recoveries, and engines maintenance
- Provide on the job training and coaching to technicians on basic tasks and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 10 years of experience within maintenance operations area at an Airbase
- Technical diploma or skill level 7 or 9 certified in respective trade, QC or Training the Trainer
- Military aircraft experience letter or equivalent
- Knowledge of aircraft launching and recovering processes
- Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and procedures
- Understanding of aircraft structure, components, troubleshooting, wiring system and functions

Overview
- To perform moderately aircraft engine maintenance and repairs in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable technical orders, standards, and regulations.
- Perform O, I and D Level when its applicable.
Responsibilities
- Follow the day to day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair jet engines and small gas turbine engines following blueprints, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documents, using hand tools.
- Calibrate installed or repaired equipment to prescribed specifications.
- Perform scheduled service and maintenance tasks to aircraft engine components and advise on problems with maintaining, servicing, and inspecting of items.
- Perform tasks with technician teams in conducting functional tests of repaired components and systems according to standards and procedures.
- Remove, install, inspect, repair and modify engines and engine modules and components.
- Annotate maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports as required.
- Report findings and issues to supervisor and proceed with the adopted solution.
- Disassemble and assemble engines adhering to prescribed procedures and prepares engines for installation, storage, or transportation.
- Use and dispose of hazardous waste and materials following safety standards and procedures.
- Perform basic launch and recovery to engine and engine components to ensure they are working appropriately.
- Maintain logs of airplane launches, recoveries, and engines maintenance to spurt future operations with a reliable database.
Qualification
- Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience within maintenance operations area at an Airbase.
- Knowledge of aircraft launching and recovering processes.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance processes and procedures.
- Understanding of aircraft structure, components, troubleshooting, wiring system and functions. Etc.
Minimum Qualification
- Technical diploma or skill level 7 or 9 certified in respective trade, QC or Training the Trainer.
- Military aircraft experience letter or equivalent.
