About the Role
GAL is looking for a Tool Room Technician to manage the issuance and receipt of tools and equipment in Abu Dhabi. The role involves inventory management, tool inspection, and maintaining stock levels.

- Process daily sign in/out of tools, test equipment, expendable and consumable materials
- Perform cyclic inventories of tools and equipment
- Inspect tools and kits for completeness
- Identify broken tools, notify supervisor, and arrange repair/replacement
- Submit items for calibration and return them to tool room
- Maintain stock locations and levels
- Work with Property Book section to maintain Hand Receipt of issued items
- Maintain calibrated items (TMDE) schedule
- Process and file tool control, replenishment, and asset management documentation
- Perform clean up duties and police shop areas
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum 1 year experience in packing delicate parts and marking/labelling
- Experience in military or civilian warehouse supply system
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Hands on training of automated supply system

Overview
- Manages the daily issuance and receipt of tools, equipment, consumables and expendables that are maintained within the tool room.
- Keeping production equipment up and running.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process the daily sign in/out of tools, test equipment, expendable materials, and consumable materials.
- Performs cyclic inventories of tools and equipment issued from the tool room.
- Inspect tools and kits for completeness in accordance with provided inventories.
- Identify broken tools, notify supervisor of tool orders, repair and replace tools in tools boxes and in the tool room.
- Submits items as directed to calibration and returns them to the tool room as completed.
- Maintain stock locations and levels.
- Work closely with the Property Book section to maintain the sections Hand Receipt of issued items.
- Maintain the sections calibrated items (TMDE) schedule.
- Process and file tool control, replenishment, and asset management documentation.
- Performs clean up duties and polices the shop areas as assigned.
- Complies with all Company rules, policies and procedures.
- Favorably interacts with internal/external customers.
Qualification
- High School Diploma.
- Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access is a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years of experience in packing delicate parts using packing materials & marking / labelling also desired.
- Experience of military or civilian warehouse supply system.
- Must have knowledge in computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Must have hands on training of automated supply system.
