Role Overview
The Workplace Operations Supervisor supports Tesla’s non-manufacturing facilities by delivering soft services primarily to engineering teams (as well as sales, service, energy, and G&A).
Working closely with the Operations Manager, this role focuses on space management, moves, furniture, storage, and day-to-day workplace operations to keep offices and labs functional and efficient.
Core Focus Areas (aligned with the broader components):
• Workplace & Facility Management : Coordinate small in-office moves and support larger moves; oversee lab/office furniture procurement; conduct space audits; manage storage; assist with space blocking, planning, and utilization.
• Employee Services & Office Administration : Manage the Workplace email alias, track requests via Service Channel, improve end-user experience, and provide responsive operational support.
• Vendor & Service Provider Management (limited scope): Oversee furniture procurement and related coordination.
• Cross-Functional Coordination : Partner with the Operations Manager and engineering teams; support data collection and process improvements.
The ideal candidate is customer-service oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
They must have strong follow-through, be willing to work flexible hours and assist with physical tasks, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam.
