- Inspect structural works on site including concrete, steel, formwork, rebar, precast elements, and associated civil infrastructure.
- Monitor contractors activities to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, materials, and relevant specifications.
- Report any non conformances, delays, or deviations from the contract documents to the Site Engineer or Resident Engineer.
- Witness material testing and ensure the correct implementation of quality control procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive site records including daily inspections, progress updates, and photographic evidence.
- Review and verify contractor's daily reports and check the adequacy of manpower and equipment on site.
- Coordinate with other discipline inspectors to resolve interface issues and ensure proper integration of works.
- Participate in technical and progress meetings as required.
- Assist in reviewing method statements and ITPs from a site implementation perspective.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to on site.
