Who you are

  • Reporting to the Store Manager, the Department Manager oversees either the Mens or Womens collections.
  • You function as an ambassador of the brand while leading the sales team to offer an exceptional customer experience and meet sales and operational objectives.
  • You are accountable for leading your department while supporting the Store Manager in ensuring a highly productive work environment.

Role responsibilities

  • Maximize all selling opportunities to achieve (and exceed) individual sales goals and department sales goals
  • Manage and motivate sales team to provide the highest level of customer service
  • Provide industry leading customer service building guest loyalty through in store experience
  • Develop events/networking opportunities that will continue to grow customer base
  • Continuously demonstrate product knowledge to enhance sales
  • Manage and assist associates with the use of all client relationship resources
  • Oversee, observe, and give feedback on client interactions ensuring each ambassador provides a tailored, personal, and memorable experience
  • Coordinate staff training programs to enhance product competency, customer service, sales technique, stock management
  • Complete Operational objectives, opening and closing the store
  • Assign and prioritize tasks and staff activities each day
  • Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained throughout the day
  • Professionally communicate Store/Company objectives priorities, and initiatives to team members

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; College degree preferred
  • 3 4 years’ Experience in equivalent role in Luxury Environment
  • Proven ability to meet business goals by driving results through store team
  • Existing client book or demonstrable ability to network and cultivate clients
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to stand for multiple hours continuously and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Able to work a varied schedule each week including nights and weekends
  • Convey positive can do attitude towards tackling problems
  • Ability to seek feedback and seek other points of view while maintaining confident direction
  • Team player who can thrive in a relationship driven environment
  • Passionate, driven, and motivated by product

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary range: CAD 90,000 to CAD 110,000 per year
