Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to patients of all ages, including preventive, acute, and chronic care
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of medical conditions using evidence based clinical practices
- Perform routine health assessments, annual physical examinations, and preventive health screenings
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate referrals to specialists when necessary
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular conditions
- Provide women's health, men's health, geriatric care, and adolescent healthcare services within the scope of Family Medicine
- Promote preventive healthcare through patient education, lifestyle counseling, immunizations, and wellness programs
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, Continuing Medical Education (CME), and departmental meetings
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- Completion of an accredited residency training program in Family Medicine
- Board Certified in Family Medicine from USA (ABFM), Canada (CCFP), UK (CCT/MRCGP), Australia (FRACGP), New Zealand (FRNZCGP), Ireland (MICGP), or other DHA recognized Western Board Certification
- Minimum 5 years of post board certification experience as a Consultant/Attending Family Medicine Physician
- Eligibility for or possession of a Dubai Health Authority (DHA) Consultant license
- Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence based, patient centered care
- Fluency in English is essential
- Experience working in internationally accredited hospitals or premium outpatient clinics (preferred)
- UAE or GCC experience is an advantage but not mandatory
- Additional languages such as Arabic are an advantage
