Astra ProMed is hiring a Western-trained Board Certified Family Medicine Physician for a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care, managing acute and chronic conditions, and promoting preventive care.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services for patients of all age groups
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence based clinical practice
- Conduct routine health assessments, annual physical examinations, preventive screenings, and health risk evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure continuity of care through regular follow up
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular risk factors
- Provide preventive healthcare services, including immunizations, health education, lifestyle counseling, and disease prevention programs
- Interpret laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical tests to guide patient management
- Perform minor office based procedures within the scope of Family Medicine practice
- Coordinate patient care with specialists and allied healthcare professionals when referrals are required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education (CME)
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations, hospital policies, and international clinical guidelines
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution
- Completion of accredited postgraduate training in Family Medicine
- Board Certification in Family Medicine from ABFM, CCFP, CCT, FRACGP, FRNZCGP, or MICGP
- Western training is mandatory
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter preferred
- Minimum 5 years of post board certification clinical experience in Family Medicine preferred
- Fluency in English is mandatory

Qualifications

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling abilities
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Fluency in English is mandatory; additional languages such as Arabic are an advantage
