Lead the design, development, optimization, and operation of water and wastewater treatment systems.
Deliver process engineering solutions and support safe, efficient, on-time, and budget-compliant project execution.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for treatment facility design, operation, and optimization.
- Develop and simulate treatment technologies and processes, including sensitivity analyses.
- Conduct process audits and identify operational improvement opportunities.
- Prepare P&IDs, BFDs, mass balances, process calculations, design reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Size treatment equipment, pumping and lifting stations, tanks, dry wells, and wet wells.
- Prepare BOQs, support cost estimates, and develop O&M manuals and SOPs.
- Troubleshoot plant process issues and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Work with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout project execution.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 7-12 years of relevant water and wastewater treatment process engineering experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience with treatment design, process calculations, mass balances, equipment sizing, modeling, and troubleshooting.
- Experience preparing P&IDs, BFDs, reports, specifications, BOQs, and O&M documentation.
- Experience delivering treatment projects in engineering, construction, EPC, or related environments.
- Strong knowledge of treatment processes, environmental requirements, and engineering standards.
- Saudi Council of Engineers certification is required.
- Professional Engineer certification is preferred.
