Rawafid Industrial is seeking an experienced Concrete Structure Design Engineer to lead and support structural engineering activities.
The role supports water, wastewater, industrial, and construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare structural calculations for concrete and steel tanks, steel structures, and other concrete structures.
- Prepare design reports, specifications, technical documentation, BOQs, and project cost estimates.
- Create, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specifications.
- Guide draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams in producing tender and design drawings.
- Perform simulations, load assessments, capacity checks, and civil load calculations.
- Develop water and wastewater network designs using appropriate engineering software.
- Manage structural engineering activities and coordinate interfaces with other disciplines.
- Provide QA/QC, conduct site visits, coordinate with clients and project teams, and support project execution and planning.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 7 to 12 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers certification.
- Strong experience designing concrete and steel structures for water, wastewater, industrial, or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of SBC, ACI, ASTM, AWWA, and NWC specifications.
- Ability to prepare structural calculations, design reports, technical specifications, BOQs, cost estimates, and drawing reviews.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in a managerial or senior engineering capacity.
- Professional Engineer certification.
Technical skills
- Knowledge of water and wastewater structures, including water tanks and related infrastructure.
- Knowledge of construction materials, concrete structures, steel structures, and construction engineering.
- Understanding of CAD/BIM workflows and structural modeling.
Site coordination
- The role includes conducting site visits and coordinating with clients, consultants, and project teams.
