Role Overview
Lead and support structural engineering activities for water, wastewater, and industrial projects.
Develop detailed structural designs, calculations, specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and BOQs.
Ensure compliance with engineering codes, client requirements, and company standards.
Structural Engineering Responsibilities
- Prepare structural calculations for concrete and steel water tanks, steel structures, and other concrete structures.
- Prepare and review structural design reports.
- Prepare priced and unpriced BOQs and project cost estimates.
- Develop structural specifications and technical documentation.
- Create, review, and coordinate engineering drawings and specifications.
- Guide draftsmen and BIM/modeling teams in producing tender and design drawings.
- Perform simulations, load assessments, and capacity checks.
- Carry out civil load and capacity calculations and support equipment and material selection.
- Develop water and wastewater network designs using appropriate engineering software.
Project Coordination and Quality
- Manage structural engineering activities and coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines.
