Role Overview
A shipping company in Makkah is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and optimize warehouse operations.
The role leads a warehouse team, manages inventory and order fulfillment, ensures safety compliance, and uses WMS technology to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Use WMS software to track inventory, process orders, and produce operational reports.
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy.
- Enforce safety protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to improve throughput and reduce delays.
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff toward performance and quality targets.
- Maintain standard operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar shipping or logistics role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management System software.
- Knowledge of supply management, logistics management, and inventory control.
- Team leadership and staff development experience.
- Understanding of warehouse safety compliance and regulatory standards.
- Experience with order fulfillment and operational efficiency.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a large-scale distribution or shipping center.
- Experience implementing Lean methodologies or process improvement projects.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced reporting tools.
- CSCP or OSHA safety training certification.
