We are looking for an experienced
Sea Freight Import Executive
to manage end-to-end import shipment operations within a freight-forwarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day
sea freight import shipments
and provide regular ETA/transshipment updates.
- Review
HBL, MBL, pre-alert documents, cost sheets and agent invoices
.
- Coordinate cargo arrival notices and
Delivery Order (Do)
release.
- Coordinate with customs/clearance teams for
Bill of Entry, customs inspection and shipment clearance
.
- Liaise with shipping lines, customers, transport teams and internal departments.
- Coordinate shipment delivery and obtain
Pod
.
- Monitor shipping-line invoices, customs deposits, duties, storage and additional charges.
- Maintain shipment trackers and provide regular customer updates.
- Ensure accurate job costing, documentation and timely job closure in TMS.
Requirements
- Minimum
2 years of UAE freight-forwarding experience
, preferably handling imports.
- Strong knowledge of
Sea Freight Import Operations
.
- Understanding of HBL/MBL, Delivery Orders, Bill of Entry and customs-clearance processes.
- Experience coordinating with
shipping lines, customs/clearance teams and transporters
.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or similar discipline.
- CargoWise experience is an advantage.
- Good MS Office, communication and coordination skills.
