Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, and handling of raw materials in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to optimize space utilization
- Prepare and analyze reports on inventory, stock movements, and operational performance
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory and address any operational issues
- Train and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high levels of performance and compliance with company standards
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery when necessary
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in warehousing with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Experience in inventory management
- SAP experience is a must
- Leadership experience
- High level of computer literacy, to include MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- Good communication skills in English
