About the Role
Kerry is seeking an EHS Officer to identify and control workplace health, safety, and environmental risks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing, preferably food/pharma, and a valid Green Book registration.

Responsibilities
- Recognize and control occupational hazards and environmental impacts, interfacing with employees and management
- Support and guide the HSE Committee for daily and monthly activities and inspections
- Ensure compliance with relevant authorities by developing and implementing HSE programs, policies and management systems
- Ensure all findings under ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 are rectified, closed and effective
- Provide necessary training programs to increase safety awareness among all employees
- Conduct risk assessment and environmental impact assessment
- Submit HSE monthly report, HSE monitoring, waste management, ENVIROS SKM (Carbon Foot Print)
- Ensure maintenance of all safety equipment such as fire system, calibration of gas detector, SCBA
- Interpret standards, advise management on needed actions, enforce adherence to regulations and maintain Kerry corporate standards
- Execute the HSE yearly Action Plan and evaluate effectiveness
- Coordinate HSE Committee meeting and activities as required by OSHA 1994
- Drive and coordinate the Green Team meeting based on DCF target/issue
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma or higher in Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for Food / Pharma background
- Proven knowledge in OSHA 1994, EQA 1974 & FMA 1967
- Registered Safety & Health Officer with valid Green Book
- Schedule Waste Competent Person (value added)
- Strong project management abilities

Key Responsibilities

- Communicating health and safety information to the organization

Qualifications and Skills
- Preferably a minimum Diploma or higher in Health & Safety or Environmental Sciences
- Preferably a minimum of 5 years working experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for Food / Pharma background
- Proven knowledge in OSHA 1994, EQA 1974 & FMA 1967
- Registered Safety & Health Officer with valid Green Book
- Schedule Waste Competent Person (value added to this position)
- Strong project management abilities; ability to manage projects to successful completion
