The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Line-manage and coach Warehouse Operatives and Trainee Supervisors, including performance one-to-ones and SMART goals.
• Monitor delivery to plan and identify improvements with the Section Manager.
• Drive performance against key metrics and fulfil customer web and store demand on time and in full.
• Promote site safety and adherence to safety routines and procedures.
• Support floor safety inspections, hazard spotting, safety gembas, risk assessments, and audits.
• Review weekly labour plans, confirm cover, and highlight issues.
• Explain missed targets and create plans to close performance gaps.
• Partner with stakeholders on strategic activity.
• Support culture change and turnover reduction.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain.
• High potential for people and change management.
• Good systems skills.
• Customer-focused approach to operational management.
• Resilient, flexible, and approachable working style.
• Problem-solving ability in a fast-paced business.
• The role operates on a rotating shift pattern of five days out of seven, including weekends.
