Purpose of the Job
Manage the warehouse operation to ensure continuous supply of parts at the right time, location, quantity, and cost.
Maintain an attractive and safe operation at the Central Parts Warehouse in Jeddah or Riyadh through close monitoring.
Warehouse Operations
- Manage implementation of the Toyota Production System in warehouse operations to improve productivity.
- Coordinate with Inventory to manage receiving timelines, stock status, and stock-taking procedures.
- Monitor section KPIs, set targets, and control operating costs according to approved policies and procedures.
Planning and Resources
- Implement the department strategic plan and annual action plan and formulate the department budget.
- Develop and control resource skill mix to absorb fluctuations in job mix with minimum downtime.
- Harmonize the flow of manpower, vehicles, parts, documents, and other resources with workload and job mix.
People and Safety
- Manage knowledge transfer to warehouse associates and implement succession plans.
- Coordinate with ESSR to maintain warehouse safety and secure warehouse stock.
- Coordinate with Sales and Marketing on sales campaigns and other common activities.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Management, or an equivalent discipline.
- Six years of experience, including at least two years in a business managerial role.
