Role Overview
The Financial Analyst will analyze and interpret financial data and communicate business trends and issues to company leadership.
The role covers FP&A, financial analysis, reporting, business partnering, and process improvement.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead or support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Coordinate departmental assumptions and align business plans with company strategy.
Financial Analysis
- Analyze actual results against budgets and forecasts and identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Develop financial models for business initiatives, investments, and strategic projects.
- Analyze cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheet information.
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
Reporting and Business Partnering
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with commentary and actionable insights.
- Support board reporting, investor presentations, and ad hoc financial analysis.
- Ensure reporting aligns with internal policies.
- Work with operations, sales, marketing, and other teams to understand business drivers.
- Provide insights for pricing, cost management, capital expenditure, and resource allocation decisions.
Process Improvement
- Enhance FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
- Drive automation and standardization of reporting and planning processes.
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or an equivalent qualification or experience.
- Have 3 to 5 years of financial analysis and modeling experience.
- Be proficient in Excel and understand general ERP system workflows.
- Have experience with variance analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting coordination, costing, and profitability analysis.
- Have knowledge of Oracle FCCS or a similar system.
- Have experience in process improvement projects and risk assessment modeling.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and data presentation skills.
