About the Role
DHL Global Forwarding is hiring a Warehouse Assistant in Doha, Qatar to handle receiving, material handling, picking, shipping, and packaging. The role requires a high school diploma and less than 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities
- Offload incoming material, segregate, palletize in accordance with correct batch number and expiry
- Inspect shipments for damages, shortage, or defects and notify supervisor
- Accurately receive inbound based on RTS using RF device
- Perform put away for inbounds once received and final put away upon final release
- Read shipment orders and verify material matches work order
- Pick orders in accordance with pick ticket, QC and pack shipments as per customer requirements
- Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines, including temperature sensitive products
- Ensure optimum truck space utilization in lieu with all safety measures
- Prepare and pack orders for dispatch in accordance with shipment order and customer requirements
- Monitor packing material supplies and notify supervisor when materials get to restocking point

Job Overview
- DHL Global Forwarding has an opening for a Warehouse Assistant in Doha, Qatar. Build and Develop trade lane consolidations for South African export traffic. Coordinate day to day operations within the Airfreight Gateway.
Warehouse Assistant Responsibilities
- Offloads incoming material, Segregation, Palletization, In accordance with correct batch number & Expiry
- Inspects shipments for damages, Shortage, or defects, and notify the Supervisor of findings
- Accurately receive Inbound based on RTS. Using RF device.
- Performs Put away for Inbounds once it's received and final put away upon final release
- Responsible for proper usage & preventive maintenance of MHE's
- Reads Shipment orders and verify the material matches the work order
- Picks orders in accordance with the pick ticket, QC and pack shipments as per customer requirements
- Packages and ships in accordance with packaging guidelines (Temperature sensitive products)
- Ensures optimum truck space utilization in lieu with all safety measures
- Prepares and pack orders for dispatch in accordance with the shipment order and customer Requirements
