Waitstaff/Server

Delivers nourishments and snacks as needed.

Inspects deliveries ensuring proper items and quantities are delivered and that temperatures are recorded while adhering to safe food handling practices.

Tastes and smells prepared food to determine quality and palatability.

Maintains HACCP records on a daily basis, monitoring temperatures of hot and cold foods throughout service including prior to, during and cool down to ensure established temperature goals are met.

Assist in training and education of new personnel as assigned by the Executive Chef, Manager, Supervisor and or the Director of Dining Services.

Ensures that the service area has been secured at the end of the shift. All equipment and lights are turned off and all doors and gates are locked.

Practices a safety first attitude reporting any unsafe behavior or working condition in accordance with Glencroft Safety Policies and Procedures.

Cleans and sanitizes work area and equipment as assigned assuming responsibility for the clean and orderly condition of areas and equipment used on the shift.

Assists with various duties relating to special activities and functions.

Attends departmental staff meetings, in-services and other related meetings as required.

Performs other duties as assigned.
