- A Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing guests with food and beverages as requested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedures and company standards.
- What will I be doing?
- As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for providing guests with food and beverages as requested in an efficient manner and according to proper procedures and service standards.
- Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manage an efficiently operated service shift in accordance with agreed standards and regulations
- Use every opportunity to gain knowledge in all areas of service operations
- Ensure all tables receive their food and beverages as requested in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness of all equipment used during shifts
- Maintain cleanliness of the outlet and storage areas according to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Demonstrate full knowledge of all food and beverage menus and be ready to explain and recommend items to guests
- Comply with company health, safety, and fire regulations and procedures
- Adhere to company disciplinary policies when necessary
- Maximise revenue and guest satisfaction through upselling food and non-alcoholic beverages and delivering excellent customer service
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all non-alcoholic beverages served, including preparation and presentation standards
- Meet or exceed monthly sales and performance targets
- The Beverage Service Associate at Hilton Hotels plays a key role in delivering an exceptional hospitality experience to guests by providing a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages, including hot and cold drinks, in a refined and fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
Required Qualifications And Skills
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in a supervisory level or above
- Friendly personality with a smart and professional appearance
- Strong ability to listen and respond courteously to guest needs
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with a high level of accountability and attention to detail
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences
Preferred Qualifications (Advantageous)
- Previous experience in hospitality or beverage service roles
- Strong commitment to delivering high levels of guest satisfaction
