Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters, bartenders, and hostesses during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations of Hills Pool Deck, maintaining service excellence and guest satisfaction.
  • Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring personalized and memorable dining experiences.
  • Monitor service standards, presentation, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct daily briefings and allocate staff duties according to business levels.
  • Ensure all orders are accurately entered into the POS system and billing procedures are followed.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with the bar and kitchen, and report shortages.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members to improve performance and upselling techniques.
  • Ensure upselling of food, beverages, and promotions to maximize revenue.
  • Assist management in achieving departmental targets and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or upscale restaurant.
  • Previous experience in pool bar or outdoor dining operations is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food & beverage service standards and sequence of service.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic reporting.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Well groomed, professional appearance and positive attitude.
