The role supports hotel restaurant, café, and room service operations while maintaining hospitality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome hotel guests and provide professional service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards.
- Explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions to guests.
- Set up and clear tables while maintaining cleanliness and presentation.
- Assist with meals, buffets, and special events as required.
- Provide room service and deliver orders to guest rooms when assigned.
- Check guest satisfaction and respond to requests or concerns.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain service stations, restaurant areas, and equipment.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, housekeeping, and front office teams.
Requirements
- Previous hotel or restaurant waiter experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills are required.
- Good command of English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
- A pleasant personality with a positive and professional attitude is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required.
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail are required.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards is an advantage.
Workplace and pay
- Work location is in person in Abu Dhabi.
- Pay is AED 1,100 to AED 1,200 per month.
