Role Description
The VRF Expert is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VRF air-conditioning systems.
The position supports reliable HVAC performance, energy efficiency, client coordination, service reporting, and technical guidance for junior technicians.
Core Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications and conduct system diagnostics.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Coordinate with project teams and clients and prepare service reports.
- Adhere to safety standards and company procedures.
- Support system upgrades and continuous improvement of service quality.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in VRF and HVAC systems, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
- Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and control system drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, local regulations, and facilities management and HVAC best practices.
- Experience with diagnostic tools, measuring instruments, and basic computer applications for service documentation.
- Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
Experience and Work Requirements
- Industry certifications in VRF or HVAC are advantageous.
- Previous facilities management or building services experience in the UAE or GCC region is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site, respond to urgent service requests, and adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for coordination with clients, supervisors, and multidisciplinary site teams.
