Role Description
The Facilities Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.
The role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems and infrastructure.
Daily work includes monitoring and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems and performing inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot equipment and system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with facilities operations and FM teams and support vendor and contractor management.
- Help optimize energy usage and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support continuous improvement across assigned facilities.
- Comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Relevant engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering.
- Experience in facilities management or building services.
- Strong facilities engineering, facility management, and facilities operations skills.
- Troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Preventive maintenance skills for planning and executing maintenance programs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and familiarity with industry standards.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaborative working skills.
- Prior UAE or GCC experience is an advantage.
