Role Overview
The full-time Visual Systems Specialist role is described as mid-level to senior.
The role develops, maintains, and optimizes visual systems supporting brand identity, digital experiences, creative communication, and scalable design processes.
The role collaborates with Design, Product, Marketing, Creative, and Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable visual systems, design frameworks, and visual standards.
- Create visual guidelines for typography, color, imagery, layout, icons, graphics, and motion principles.
- Translate brand and business requirements into consistent visual solutions.
- Develop reusable design components, templates, patterns, and visual assets.
- Ensure visual consistency across websites, applications, digital products, marketing materials, presentations, and other channels.
- Conduct visual audits and identify usability and consistency improvements.
- Support design systems, component libraries, design documentation, and visual governance.
- Develop prototypes, mockups, visual concepts, and design documentation.
- Work with UX, UI, and development teams to support accessibility, usability, and accurate implementation.
- Organize design assets, libraries, templates, and documentation.
- Improve design workflows, production efficiency, scalability, and collaboration.
