Role Overview

Videography

• Capture high-quality footage during on-location shoots and in studio environments.
• Collaborate with directing teams to visualise and execute creative concepts.
• Ensure effective lighting, composition, and audio capture during shoots.
• Adapt to changing surroundings and requirements while maintaining a professional demeanour.

Editing

• Edit documentaries, promotional materials, and social media content.
• Ensure narrative coherence, visual quality, and technical excellence in edited projects.
• Incorporate graphics, sound design, and other elements to enhance the viewer experience.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.

Collaboration and Standards

• Work with producers, directors, and team members to align final products with the creative vision.
• Participate in brainstorming and creative sessions to develop innovative video concepts.
• Respond to feedback and make revisions as necessary.
• Maintain high quality standards in shooting and editing and stay updated on industry trends and technology.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when creating content for Arabic-speaking audiences.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a videographer and editor with a strong portfolio.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid understanding of cinematography, lighting, and audio fundamentals.
• Excellent storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle constructive feedback and adapt to changing project requirements.
