Role Overview
The Videographer plans, produces, films, and edits video content for marketing, branding, social media, corporate communications, events, and other creative initiatives.
The role transforms creative concepts and business objectives into visual stories that communicate key messages and strengthen brand presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop video concepts, storyboards, scripts, and visual treatments.
- Plan shots and production requirements.
- Operate cameras, lighting, audio, and other production equipment.
- Manage filming activities from preparation through completion.
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, communications, and other teams on content objectives.
- Edit video, perform color correction and sound editing, and create motion graphics and subtitles.
- Optimize final content for different platforms and formats.
- Maintain organized media files and manage project assets.
- Ensure final deliverables meet quality, creative, technical, and deadline requirements.
- Adapt content for different audiences and platforms and contribute to improvements in visual communication.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Digital Media, Broadcasting, Visual Communications, or a related discipline.
