Role Description
Evaluate internal controls, risk management processes, governance practices, and operational procedures.
Identify risks and control weaknesses and provide practical recommendations to strengthen processes and compliance.
Audit Activities
- Plan and conduct internal audit reviews.
- Examine financial and operational records and evaluate policies and procedures.
- Test internal controls and assess compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.
- Gather and analyze information to identify control gaps, irregularities, and risks.
- Prepare clear and well-supported audit findings.
Reporting and Follow-up
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor corrective actions and follow up on agreed recommendations.
- Work with departments to understand business processes, assess risks, and support control improvements.
Additional Assurance Work
- Assist with risk assessments, special reviews, investigations, process improvement initiatives, and other assurance activities.
