A leading financial services and brokerage firm is seeking a Senior Vice President – Sales to lead institutional sales and business development activities across equities, fixed income, and liquidity solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding institutional client relationships, overseeing customer service delivery channels, and leading a high-performing sales team across regional and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives and market trends
  • Lead institutional sales coverage across equities and fixed income products
  • Build and manage relationships with institutional investors and senior stakeholders including CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, and investment decision-makers
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across local, regional, and international markets
  • Partner with Trading and Research teams to develop marketing initiatives and investor engagement strategies
  • Organise investor roadshows, client meetings, and market events
  • Manage sales targets, forecasting, pipeline development, and performance reporting
  • Oversee customer service and delivery channels across institutional, corporate, HNWI, and retail segments
  • Lead, mentor, and develop sales teams while driving a high-performance culture
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, operational risk, and internal control frameworks

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience within financial services, investment banking, or brokerage environments
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
  • At least 8 years’ experience leading institutional sales teams
  • Strong experience within brokerage, capital markets, or securities services
  • Proven track record in institutional business development and revenue generation
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
