About the Role

  • We are looking for a Veterinary Nurse who is honest, hard working, self motivated, and a team player.
  • Noble Veterinary Clinic has been serving pets and pet owners in Dubai since 2006.

Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians during consultations by restraining animals, taking vital signs, and preparing the examination room.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterilized and ready for use.
  • Assist during surgeries by monitoring anesthesia, passing instruments to the surgeon, and providing general support.
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and medical histories.
  • Educate pet owners on general pet care, post operative care, and medication administration.
  • Clean and sanitize examination rooms, surgical areas, and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, such as blood draws and urinalysis.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary procedures, medical terminology, and animal handling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Compassionate and patient approach to handling animals and interacting with pet owners.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records.
  • English language proficiency (Required).
