Role overview
Allstate is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with expertise in SAP development, integrations, and interface technologies.
The role supports SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions and integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions in ECC and/or S/4HANA environments.
- Develop RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Build, expose, and consume OData services for SAP Fiori and external integrations.
- Develop and integrate REST and SOAP APIs with SAP and third-party applications.
- Configure and support web services using SOAMANAGER.
- Implement inbound and outbound interfaces using IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Proxy, REST, and SOAP services.
- Develop integration solutions using SAP BTP services and connectivity options.
- Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and code optimization.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare technical designs, unit test scripts, and deployment documentation.
Required skills and qualifications
- 5–10 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong expertise in Classical ABAP, OOABAP, ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAP Scripts, and Adobe Forms.
