About Salla

Salla is an e-commerce platform in Saudi Arabia that helps merchants start, run, and grow their businesses online.

Its ecosystem includes storefronts, payments, shipping, order management, marketing, and related merchant tools.

Role Overview

Help shape the merchant experience on Salla by creating clear, useful, and intuitive content.

Collaborate with product teams to simplify complex experiences and help merchants navigate Salla with clarity and confidence.

The role provides hands-on UX writing experience in a real-world product environment.

Tamheer Eligibility

  • Applicants must be eligible for the Tamheer Program and must not have been registered with GOSI during the past six months.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear, concise, and consistent UI copy for buttons, forms, error messages, tooltips, notifications, and onboarding flows.
  • Create content across microcopy, in-product guidance, longer-form product content, and emails.
  • Partner with Product Managers to support user needs and business goals.
  • Work with Product Designers in Figma to align content and design into one experience.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across product touchpoints.
  • Adapt content to different user needs, contexts, and audience segments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arabic, English, Linguistics, Translation, Communication, or a related field.
  • Practical writing experience through internships, cooperative training, freelance work, university projects, or similar experience.
  • Strong Arabic and English writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, concise, user-friendly content.
  • Strong attention to grammar, tone, consistency, and detail.
  • Familiarity with Figma or similar collaborative design tools.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to feedback.
  • A portfolio or relevant writing samples is preferred.
