UX Research Asistant

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
• Recruit participants and prepare research materials.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and identify user behavior patterns.
• Compile findings into clear summaries and presentations.
• Document research sessions and maintain research repositories.
• Collaborate with product, design, and editorial teams.
• Contribute recommendations that improve usability, accessibility, and engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and data analysis abilities are required to interpret user behavior and support evidence-based design decisions.
• Effective communication skills are required for reports, presentations, stakeholder engagement, and respectful participant interaction.
• Research skills should include user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and literature review in a UX or related context.
• Relevant laboratory or experimental skills may include following protocols, handling data ethically, and maintaining organized documentation.
• Candidates must be able to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with UX research methods, UX or design principles, survey platforms, spreadsheets, or analytics dashboards is beneficial.
• Relevant coursework or experience in human-computer interaction, psychology, information science, UX design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
