About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead global IT operations, infrastructure, applications, systems, and technology services.
• Oversee architecture, cloud platforms, networks, endpoints, and enterprise technology environments.
• Lead digital transformation, modernization, migrations, integrations, and major technology projects.
• Establish global IT policies, standards, governance frameworks, and operational procedures.
• Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, identity and access management, technology risk, and compliance.
• Develop business continuity, disaster recovery, and IT resilience strategies.
• Manage IT budgets, investments, vendors, contracts, and service providers.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and drive automation, process improvement, and efficiency.
• Lead ERP, CRM, business application, and enterprise platform implementation and optimization.
• Monitor IT performance, service levels, availability, security, and operational KPIs.
• Build and develop global IT teams and provide strategic updates to senior leadership.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A master's degree, MBA, or equivalent advanced qualification is advantageous.
• Significant senior-level experience in IT management, technology leadership, or global IT operations.
• Proven experience leading large-scale IT transformation or enterprise technology programs.
• Experience managing IT budgets, teams, vendors, and strategic technology investments.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms, enterprise systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and IT service-management practices.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, ITIL, TOGAF, PMP, AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, or equivalent are advantageous.
